I was very happy with Sanchit and the team; they were very responsive and prompt. The team was very communicative throughout the process; they quickly answered my questions, which was great because I didn’t have a lot of patience. We met via Google Meet and typically discussed project details via WhatsApp and finalized everything via email. I’m not a fan of calls, so the process worked for me.

Mobikasa has been extremely helpful and is an integral part of our website's development.

They have assisted us in several projects such as installing a new theme on our Shopify store and designing the look of the pages while maintaining our company's colour scheme and vibe.
They also recommended and installed a comprehensive search app on our site. Before this, our store did not have detailed menus to aid the end user in maneuvering our website to look for specific items.
Throughout all of our projects, Mobikasa has been very good at communication since we have regular meetings every week and they always reply to my emails within a timely manner. They have also provided great advice and direction on how to improve our website's look and functionality.

Iâ€™m a fashion designer; we manufacture high-end Indian attire such as saris and suits. We engaged MOBIKASA to design and develop a basic e-commerce website for users to view our luxury products. Users typically navigate our site from Facebook and Instagram and use it as a reference point, but they make in-store purchases.

Most of our clientele donâ€™t have the time to go through long-winded shopping processes, so we wanted to make the purchasing experience easier for them. Our goal was to create a professional site that could toe the line between encouraging users to visit our stores and allowing them to make online purchases more easily

MOBIKASA’s development quality is really amazing

The new payment/warehouse management system has completely streamlined our internal processes. We used to suffer from communication gaps between the sales staff and the production team. The people who took orders would understand requirements one way, whereas the people tailoring the pieces would understand them another way. As a result, a lot of orders would be rejected, and we’d have to give refunds. Now, the system tracks everything. It’s been going well for the past month or so, and the process is much easier for our staff to follow.

Describe your project in brief

MOBIKASA developed a web-based payment solution that would help us better manage our sales and warehouse data across various channels. Because we donâ€™t have an in-depth tech background, they initially allocated a business analyst who helped us understand our problems and reframe them into a project scope. Together, we came up with a list of features, which would become a wireframe, a design, and finally a functional system.

Their team built the solution using Node.js to capture a lot of information throughout the production pipeline. For example, if a customer wants to buy a custom piece of clothing for a wedding, one of our staff would log the order for our warehouse team to fulfill. All of the production/payment information would then be tracked in the system, which we could access through an admin console.

MOBIKASA has finished the app and is currently working on designing our company website.

What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?

Compared to previous developers we’ve worked with, MOBIKASA’s development quality is really amazing. I like that they’ve assigned a business analyst to our project. Although I was hesitant at first, they ended up playing an important role in helping us make key decisions, from identifying our goals to looking at the functionality and business logic.

“Mobi” stands for Mobile, whereas “Kasa” is a modified Spanish word for Home. We wanted it to be a home for mobile apps, and since 2011, we have developed 100+ custom mobile apps that enabled our clients the growth of their businesses. At the same time, we expanded our offerings to other services such as web development, e-commerce, ADA compliance, and digital marketing. We carved out our niche globally and currently, our strongest suite is within the e-commerce space and have worked on over 2000 eCommerce websites.

What are your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?

Our company’s business model has always been ‘in-house’. We don’t believe in third-party vendors or outsourcing for the simple reason that we can project manage, control, and monitor the quality of deliverables by keeping the resources in-house.

What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?

We have a dedicated team of trained professionals including project managers, technical leads, developers, and application testers who go through the project daily and cater to the issues and queries of our clients. So, there is always someone available to ensure a timely response and the delivery of each task.

What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)

Our payment structure depends upon the type of services that we offer. For example, we have a minimum plan of $5000 that lasts 135 hours for doing all sorts of website maintenance. The payment can be fixed cost, monthly (for dedicated development teams), prepaid block of hours for maintenance, quarterly invoices for digital marketing services, etc.

Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?

The minimum budget for our services commences at $5,000 with the allocation of a dedicated project manager, who can decide upon the varying tasks and stages ranging from design, development, digital marketing, and accessibility testing. This dedicated project manager coordinates with the rest of the team and the client to ensure timely deliverables.

What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2021?

The minimum price range project we do is $12,000. The maximum price range is a custom marketplace we’ve built for the automotive industry, which costs 500,000 USD.
